Original vintage travel advertising poster published by British Railways Eastern Region - Skegness is so bracing - Fun and colourful poster featuring a young child skipping along a beach wearing a hat, boots and yellow shorts with sailing boats on the horizon at sea and smaller images, including the iconic image of a jolly fisherman skipping on a beach with his arms extended (originally designed by John Hassall in 1908 and used since used by the railways for advertising), like the child above, and four images on the sides depicting landmarks and activities of the popular Lincolnshire seaside town of Skegness - people swimming in the sea in front of the pier and in a swimming pool in front of fun fair rides, flowers on a green grass lawn and people walking along a promenade by an Art Deco building - the title text above and below with the British Railways logo.
