Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster commemorating the heroic non-stop long-distance flight on the route Moscow-Vladivostok and for the outstanding courage and skill demonstrated in this, by decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, Kokkinaki and Bryandinsky were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and the Order of Lenin, with the comparison of USSR and capitalist country airlines air transport length in thousands of kilometres, and heroic non-stop flights Moscow - USA via the North Pole. Soviet pilots Chkalov, Baydukov and Belyakov, and Gromov, Yumashev and Danilin paved the shortest air route between the USSR and the USA.
