Set of 3 original vintage US Elections calendars and a poster. 1. 1965 calendar with calligraphy lettering framed by illustrations of flowers, the Capitol Building and a Portrait of President John F. Kennedy - An excerpt from Kennedy's 1961 inaugural address in the centre reads; - 'And so... my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you... ask what you can do for your country.' Sponsored and Distributed as a Public Service in this community by Brown Forward. Designed by J.R. Rosen Boston. Created by Brown and Bigelow of Standard Packaging Corps USA. Good condition, creasing, minor staining, metal bars on top and bottom edge, calender sheets attached by staples. Country of issue: USA, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 85x41, year of printing: 1966; 2. 1966 calendar with calligraphy lettering framed by illustrations of flowers and a bell. The message reads; - 'Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof... in a letter written by a committee of the Pennsylvania Provincial Assembly November, 1751, ordering a bell for the tower of the new State House, it was directed that this quotation should be inscribed around it well shaped in large letters. It was this bell which announced the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, July 4 1776 and if is still preserved in Independence Hall, Philadelphia.'
