No 2, 12 January 1926 issue, featuring images from Battleship Potemkin, a 1925 Soviet silent epic film produced by Mosfilm and directed by Sergei Eisenstein, and includes articles: From words to deeds, Polina Gebl, In memory of E. P. Karpov, Screen in 7 days, with movie and theatre advertising. Life of Art is an artistic and literary theatre magazine published in Leningrad from 1923 to 1929. Editor-in-Chief: Gaik Adonts. From 1918 to 1922, it was published as a daily theatre newspaper, and in 1923, it was transformed into a magazine. Over the years, Mikhail Kuzmin, Viktor Shklovsky, Roman Yakobson, Boris Eikhenbaum, Samuil Marshak, Korney Chukovsky and others collaborated with the publication. In 1930, the publication was reorganised into the magazine "Worker and Theatre". Fair condition, tears, creasing, staining, paper losses, several loose detached pages, ink stamp on reverse. Country of issue: USSR, designer: Unknown, size (cm): 30x22, year of printing: 1926.
