Original vintage propaganda poster Map Review No 38 published October 11th 1947 featuring articles The Plan From Paris - a plan on expansion of output by 1951 comparable to that achieved by the US during the war, with a map of Europe, a table on 1947 production and 1951 production target; In search of sanctuary - on violence among Hingus and Sikhs in Pakistan, and Muslims in India; Greetings to the Third - on a broadcast for alert and receptive listener, with an imperative programme of operas and music and drama, regular repeats and mostly without running-commentaries. The reverse of the poster features an article Crime in the Capital - crime in London, with statistics on the increase of crime correlated to the strength of the Metropolitan Police Force going down, numbers for people wanted for theft, breaking, violence, and other crimes, numbers of age groups that have been arrested, with a photograph of a police officer on a motorcycle. Issued by The Bureau of Current Affairs, Carnegie House, 117 Piccadilly, W.1. Printed by Fosh & Cross, Ltd, London. Horizontal.
