Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster encouraging young people to engage in physical activity and to participate in competitive sports - Young Men and Women Ready for Labour and Defence of the USSR Pass the standards of the All-Union physical culture complex - featuring an illustration of three people demonstrating a particular exercise discipline showing a person swimming front crawl and a man crouching to shoot a rifle gun below the bold text next to an athlete in a track suit with the title text and DOSAAF medal above. Dosaaf; the Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation and Fleet was founded in 1927 for the development of paramilitary sports as a preparation for reserve armed forces. Good condition, folds, light staining. Country of issue: USSR, designer: A.S. Sysoev, size (cm): 59x30, year of printing: 1976.
