Set of 3 original vintage pages from calendars designed by of the most influential pin-up artists Joaquin Alberto Vargas y Chavez (1896-1982). 1. The Varga Girl - October featuring a pin-up girl in a green and white outfit dancing with a maraca, the poem below reads - October finds me giving South America a break, We're bound to be Good Neighbors If we just clasp hands... and shake! Very good condition, pinhole on top edge, punched holes on top edge. Country of issue: USA, designer: Alberto Vargas, size (cm): 31x22, year of printing: 1940s; 2. Double-sided page from a calendar for November and December depicting two pin-up girls, November - November means Thanksgiving And I'm thankful as can be For the streamlined apparatus Mother Nature gave to me! - featuring an illustration of a blonde lady in a white silk dress, the reverse features December with an illustration of a red-haired lady in black and white fur and a poem by Phil Stack - December ends another year And so it's time to pause, I hope you're all convinced by now There is a Santa Claus!
