A QINGBAI GOURD-SHAPED EWER, A QINGBAI CIRCULAR BOX AND COVER AND A PAIR OF CREAM-GLAZED DISHES Song Dynasty Comprising: a ewer of double-gourd shape, flanked by a spout and a strap handle in the shape of a curled chilong dragon, applied with a pale greyish-blue glaze stopping above the foot revealing the unglazed base, and a small cover with a finial, fitted box, 14cm (5 1/2in) high; a circular box and cover, adorned to the centre of the cover with a medallion enclosing leafy sprays, with ribbed sides, applied with a pale blue glaze to the interior and exterior, 8.7cm (3 3/8in) diam; and a pair of dishes, each with a foliate rim, adorned to the middle with a large two-layered flower head, covered with a translucent glaze revealing the mottled cream-coloured clay body, unglazed base, a fitted box, 14.4cm (5 5/8in) diam. Buyers' Premium and Charges


For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:

Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
