TWO PAIRS OF LAPIS LAZULI EARRINGS 1st: Lapis Lazuli earrings Lapis Lazuli cabochons 18 carat gold Length 2.5cm 2nd: Cultured pearl and Lapis Lazuli pendent earrings Cultured pearl Lapis Lazuli drop Length 5.6cm Total weight approx. 20.5g Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some surface wear to the hallmarked and unhallmarked metal (2nd: ear fittings testing as 9ct gold). 1st: stamped to reverse with maker's mark SV, UK hallmarked for 18ct gold and date letter T for. Pin fitting partially bent, would benefit from professional attention. Earrings only suitable for pierced ears. LAPIZ LAZULI 1st: measuring very approx. 4.0 x 4.2mm, depth not possible due to setting. Displaying a medium to dark blue hue, with areas of mottling. One slightly loose in setting, would benefit from professional attention. 2nd: the lapis lazuli is a medium to dark blue hue, with areas of mottling and some typical pyrite inclusions. CULTURED PEARL Displaying a cream body colour with gold and green overtones and a medium lustre. Minor blemishes visible under 10x magnification. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
