DIAMOND-SET BRACELET, DIAMOND AND SAPPHIRE PENDANT AND TWO-GEM SET BAR BROOCHES, CIRCA 1910 1st: Diamond-set bracelet Old brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.25ct total Mounted in silver and gold Length 17.4cm 2nd: Sapphire and diamond pendant/locket Old brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.35ct Step-cut sapphires Length 3.0cm 3rd: Turquoise and diamond bar brooch Turquoise cabochon Single-cut diamonds, approx. 0.10ct Mounted in silver and gold Length 6.2cm 4th: Aquamarine and diamond bar brooch Marquise-cut aquamarine Old Brilliant and rose cut diamonds Old brilliant-cut diamonds, approx. 0.15ct total Mounted in silver and gold Length 4.0cm Total weight approx. 22.5g (4) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some surface wear to the unhallmarked metal (1st testing as 14ct gold, 2nd testing as 12ct gold, 3rd testing as 11ct gold and 4th testing as 17ct gold) overall commensurate with age. 1st: Clasp opens when pulled, safety latch deficient, would benefit from professional attention. 2nd: Areas of eye visible scuffing to front and sides of pendant/locket. 4th: Marked 18CT. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
