A MOULDED FAMILLE ROSE 'EROTIC' SNUFF BOTTLE AND A MOULDED FAMILLE ROSE 'ROMANCE OF THE WESTERN CHAMBER' SNUFF BOTTLE Qianlong four-character marks, 19th century The erotic snuff bottle with two moulded and painted panels depicting lovers in elegant interiors, reserved on a stippled turquoise ground, an iron red mark to the base, stopper; the 'Romance of the Western Chamber ' snuff bottle similarly formed but with panels depicting Zhang Sheng climbing a wall to meet Cui Yingying, the reverse with a scene of two monks. The tallest bottle 5cm (2in) high. (4). Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
