A large George II Irish silver tazza William Williamson, Dublin circa 1735, foot also with harp mark Conventional circular form with moulded border on a trumpet foot the centre engraved with arms of FALLON with motto engraved 'FORTITER ET FIDELITER', height 9.4cm, diameter 34.3cm, weight 40oz. Footnotes: These are the arms of the FALLON family of Runnymede co. Roscommon, Ireland. Notably the owner of the family estate in 1749 is confirmed as Bryan FALLON (sometimes O'FALLON), where the principal residence is Runnamoat House. Bryan FALLON died in 1754 and is buried at Knockcroghery, his will gaining probate in Ireland in the same year. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
