Hutton & Company dated April 7 and 14, 1954, and September 21, 1955; and 3 drawn on the Bank of American of Los Angeles 1 made out to Constance A. DeMille dated November 25, 1955, 1 made out to The Georgia Marble Company dated February 9, 1954, and 1 made out to Paramount Pictures Corporation dated December 29, 1953, all signed ('Cecil B. DeMille') in ink, with descriptions in typescript which include 'balance due on sarcophagi,' 'invoice...charges,' and more, with Cecil B. DeMille's name and home address stamped to top of each. Together with an MGM Interoffice Communication dated '7/5/60' from Mel Ballerino to Klune reading: 'HAVE HOWARD IMMEDIATELY PLACE HOLDS ON THE FOLLING ARTISTS SUBJECT TO DEALS 'MUTINY ON BOUNTY'. PETER FINCH STOP PETER O'TOOLE STOPE LIONEL JEFFRIES STOP LEO MC KERN STOP RICHARD HARRIS STOP DONALD PLEASANCE STOP HUGH GRIFFITH STOP DUNCAN LAMONT STOP GORDON JACKSON STOP HARRY ANDRES STOP DETAILED LETTER FOLLOWS.' 28% on the first $50,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of $50,000 up to and including $1,000,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of $1,000,000 up to and including $6,000,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of $6,000,000.
A 3rd-party bidding platform fee (the "3rd-party bidding platform fee") equal to 4% of THE BID PRICE shall be payable by buyers whose successful bid is submitted via 3rd-party bidding platforms, including Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
