In the early years of his dinner rotation, he would dine with Jonathan Balling every Saturday evening. Andersen corresponded regularly with both Helene and Jonathan Balling throughout the course of his life. A VERY FINE ASSOCIATION COPY. FIRST EDITION OF THE STORIES, including 'It's Quite True,' and 'The Goblin and the Grocer.' Of the 12 tales included in the work, 8 are printed in this edition for the first time.
