Description
A JADE SPOUTED KUNDIKA Tang Dynasty The lower part of compressed globular form representing the cosmic mountain Meru, the shoulder carved with line borders, applied with a short spout to one side, the upper part of tapering form adorned with separate discs of decreasing size representing a parasol, the slightly concave base incised with a double vajra motif, the stone of pale green tone with russet markings, fitted box. 7.7cm (3in) high (3).
