Born in Marseille in 1894, Alix Aymé studied at the Music Conservatory of Toulouse and later in Paris under the renowned artist Maurice Denis. Her artistic style is distinguished by delicate lines and meticulous attention to detail, frequently featuring portraits and everyday scenes. Her travels in Asia had a significant impact on her artistic style, which combines Impressionist techniques with traditional Asian art. Her works serve as a bridge between East and West, showcasing her ability to harmonise different artistic traditions.
