Ralph & Russo Haute Couture: a Black Embellished Ballgown Spring/Summer 2015, Runway Look 27 Black silk faille ballgown with pastel floral thread-work, chiffon petal and crystal embellishment, with deep V neckline and full train to skirt with bow detail at reverse Approximate measurements: bust 34', waist 26', front length 45', back length 86' Footnotes: CONSTRUCTION NOTES Fitted bodice with a plunging V-neckline both front and back -Deep pleats from the front princess seam all the way around the back on the skirt -Voluminous skirt with asymmetric hem –short at the front (just below knee level) and long at the back extending into a train -Small petticoat just around the hips for the skirt to stand out -Lined with the same black faille -Two organic pleated bow-like drapes at the back EMBROIDERY DETAILS Three colours, lavender, pale pink and mint, of over 200 meters of silk chiffon hand-crafted flowers and buds using pure silk floss intertwined with silver metallic thread, over 500 variety of pearls and over 500 Swarovski crystals in over 1200 hours. Embroidered is all over the bodice and trickling down from the waist to scatter over the skirt Original Value Incl. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
