A Kolibri 2.7mm miniature semi-automatic pistol, no.6 Retaining some original blued finish, the butt with chequered ebonite grips with Kolibri trade-mark and the monogram 'FP', with leather purse, safety catching lacking, 1½in. barrel Footnotes: The 2.7mm Kolibri was the smallest commercially manufactured centre-fire pistol cartridge. It was introduced circa 1914 and has been obsolete for many years now. As F.C. Barnes says in Cartridges of the World, it remains potentially lethal and claims were made that it could penetrate 1½in. of pine. As for its general usefulness, he goes on to say that 'it might do to dispatch a trapped mouse or eliminate an overly aggressive cockroach.' This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: S58 S58 Lots are obsolete calibres and no licence is required unless ammunition is held.
