Footnotes: Gerynne Andrea Ferreras Tiongson is a London based South East Asian mixed media artist, specifically exploring the use of photography, prints and textiles. The main subject base of her works consist of the relationship and exploration of the self through portraiture and self portraiture. Usually working with dramatic black lining and threads which accentuate the sense of organic continuation and growth of the self. Gerynne's work encapsulates the dissection of an individuals lifetime and looks at the tearing and sewing back together of ones inner self through personal experiences and growth. Her works are very much open to interpretation and allows space for the viewer to relate personally to the works.
