QIAN SHANYAN（18-19TH CENTURY） Plum Blossoms Ink on paper, hanging scroll Inscribed and signed Qian Shanyan, with a dedication and four artist's seals Poetry hall by Zhou Zhenyou, with one his seal 106 x 34cm (41¾ x 13⅜in) Footnotes: 錢善言 墨梅 水墨紙本 立軸 周振祐題詩堂 詩堂： 囑畫寒英欲贈遙，天涯此際正魂銷。試憑驛使殷勤遞，會有吟壇取次招。性冷自然随處好，福清何可衆仁邀，也知割愛原非策，聊伴音書慰寂寥。戊申腊八後二日，又有夔門之役倚裝，題☐香伯仁兄大人吟☐，晚香周振祐草。 款識: 枝生倔強自天然，鐵骨冰心貌獨妍。桃李不堪爭媚態，品高還是讓癯仙。 香伯一兄清賞，岱雨錢善言并題。 鈐印： 〈錢〉善言私印、祖孫父子叔侄兄弟進士翰林之家、蘀石齋、十二世科第門牆 〈周〉晚香振祐（詩堂） 註：錢善言，字岱雨，浙江海鹽人。擅蘭竹花卉，尤精以縱逸筆法寫意之趣。其作畫如草書縱橫，自成高格，於清藝苑中自具聲名。 Lot to be sold without reserve.
