South Staffordshire Regiment Victorian Officers glengarry badge circa 1881-97. A very fine example. Within a gilt Crowned Garter, a silver Sphinx on ""Egypt"" tablet set on a black velvet ground. Loops replaced with two bars to reverse. VGC Pattern also worn by the East Lancashire and South Lancashire Regiments.
