A very fine rare die-stamped gilt example. Oblong rococo plate bearing crown over strap inscribed ÒRoyal Marine ArtilleryÓ set on a trophy of arms and crossed cannon, the lined centre bearing a fouled anchor. Beneath the strap, a mortar flanked by piles of shot. Two loops to reverse. VGC (KK 1084A)
