A fine and scarce gilt example. Crowned laurel wreath bearing Garter; mounted on the crimson velvet centre, a silver White Horse of Hanover over VIII (secure on wire gauze backing by three blades). Two loops to reverse. VGC

Became KingÕs Liverpool Regiment on 1st July 1881
