A very fine and scarce silvered example. Crowned star mounted with laurel wreath and Garter; crimson velvet centre mounted with three gilt lions in pale with silver label. Mounted on the base of the wreath, a gilt tri-part scroll inscribed ÒThe Leicestershire RegimentÓ with supplementary scroll below Ò1st Volunteer BattalionÓ. Three loops to reverse. One wire securing centre AF otherwise VGC
