Domed centre mounted with ornate strung bugle; within the cords, the White Horse of Kent on ?Invicta? scroll. Two horizontal loops to reverse. VGC HQ Maidstone. Reconstituted in 1759 and elevated to Light Infantry status in 1853. Became the 3rd Battalion The Queen?s Own Royal West Kent Regiment on Friday 1st July, 1881.
