A good scarce example. Heavy brass oval plate with impressed designs of crown over a thistle spray with `Strathspey Fencibles` around the top edge. The reverse with one hook and two studs. VGC

Raised and commanded by Sir James Grant, Bart of Castle Grant 1793, disbanded 1799. Hugh King Collection
