Scottish 1st Forfarshire Rifle Volunteer Corps Officer`s pouch belt plate circa 1880-87.
A good scarce silver plated example. Disc mounted with rayed eight pointed star in turn mounted with the Arms of Dundee. Two screw posts to reverse. VGC
1st Forfarshire RV became a VB of the regiment on Friday 1st July 1881; redesignated 1st (Dundee) VB Black Watch in 1st December 1887. Hugh King Collection
