Marlborough College Cadet Corps Victorian helmet plate.

A fine scarce die-stamped white metal example, probably worn by an Officer. Crowned Maltese cross, lions between the arms, bearing circlet inscribed `Marlborough College Cadet Corps `, the Crest of the College (a Bishop`s mitre) to the voided centre. Three loops to reverse. VGC

17th Wiltshire RVC formed 27th July 1860 with many members from the College. Cadet Corps formed in 1870.
