A fine scarce die-stamped silvered example. Crowned rope edged lined strap inscribed `Tower Hamlets Rifles`; `2` mounted to domed centre (fixing wires absent, soldered on). Two loops to reverse. VGC

HQ in Whitechapel Road until moved to Bow in 1894. Became 5th Battalion Rifle Brigade on Friday 1st July, 1881. Hugh King Collection
