A fine die-cast example. Silvered Thistle Star mounted with a gilt crown above a silver curled bugle horn with applied gilt HLI monogram to the centre. Beneath the horn, an applied gilt scroll inscribed Assaye ; the Elephant in gilt below. Two loops to reverse. Mounts detachable. VGC Provenance. Bosleys October 1995, Lot 74.
