3rd (Prince of Wales's) Dragoon Guards Victorian Officer's undress sabretache device.. A very fine scarce die-cast example. Rich laurel wreath surmounted by silver Prince of Wales's plumes. To the left side of the wreath applied silver scrolls inscribed 'Blenhiem Ramillies Talavera Vittoria'; to the right 'Oudenarde Malplaquet Albuhera Peninsula'. Across the base of the wreath 'Abyssinia'. Within the wreath ornate '3' over 'DG', Complete with backing plate. Two of three screw posts to reverse. VGC.
