Circlet inscribed in silver letters “The King’s Own Light Infantry”; seeded gilt centre mounted with silver French horn with central silver White Rose of York; silver “Cede Nullis” scroll below. Universal pattern rococo ends. VGC (Ryan 219) King’s Own Light Infantry (South Yorkshire Regt) redesignated King’s Own Yorkshire Light Infantry in 1887.
