A fine scarce die-stamped gilt undress example. “2” resting on “BL” cypher superimposed on crossed lances. Four screw posts to reverse. Surface grime deposit to left pennant otherwise generally VGC. Redesignated 2nd Lancers (Gardner’s Horse) in Kitchener’s 1903 reforms.
