Coldstream Regiment of Foot Guards George III Officer’s shoulder belt plate circa 1792-1807.
A splendid rare example comprising a seeded gilt oval plate with applied raised beaded rim; mounted on the plate, a silver Garter star; mounted on the star, a pierced gilt Garter on a blue enamel ground with red translucent enamel Cross of St. George to centre. Reverse with original fixings comprising two hooks and two studs. Minor wear to enamel. VGC (Parkyn 65)
