A fine rare die-stamped gilt example. Within a crowned laurel wreath. an applied silver strap inscribed “Ava” and “Afghanistan 1878-80”; lined silver XXX to gilt centre. Three loops to reverse. VGC Became 90th Punjabis in the 1903 Kitchener reforms.
