A fine scarce die-stamped white metal undress example retaining original manufacturer’s lustre. “III” interlaced with “ML” cypher superimposed on crossed lances; tri-part scroll across the lower section “Seringapatam Mysore Mahidpoor”. Five screw posts to reverse. VGC Redesignated 28th Light Cavalry in Kitchener’s 1903 reforms.
