Wiltshire Regiment Victorian Officer’s field service cap badge circa 1891-94.
A very fine and scarce example. Large gilt metal cross patée, each arm bearing honours on a lined ground. To the centre, within a circlet inscribed “The Wiltshire Regiment”, the silver coronet and AEA cypher on a domed burnished gilt ground. Two loops to reverse. VGC
Appears in 1891 and 1894 Dress Regulations.
