A pair of torchères, silver, engraved decoration en relief "Cherubs and plant motifs", engraving with insignia of the Society of Jesus, interior with iron spike, bottom filled with lead plaque, 17th/18th C., restoration, faults and defects, small bruises, without marks, pursuant to Decreto-Lei nº 120/2017, of September 15th - art. 2nd, no. 2, paragraph c). Notes: this pair of torchères was part of the exhibition "Ourivesaria Portuguesa & os seus Mestres", reproduced in the respective catalogue. Porto: Soares dos Reis National Museum, 1997, p. 163, fig. 159., Dim. - 64,5 cm; Peso - (bruto) 8.718 g.
