PHONE BIDS Limited telephone bidding is available for antique auctions for lots with a lower estimate of £300 or more. To book a telephone line, we ask you to telephone us to ensure a line is available. We would be grateful if lines are booked by no later than 7pm Tuesday, prior to the auction.

BIDDING IN PERSON Prior to bidding you will be required to register for a paddle number, two forms
of identity with proof of address and a home telephone number will be required.

BIDDING VIA the-saleroom.com: ONLY bidders with exemplary bidding history will be automatically approved. People with one or more public blocks from other Auctioneers will not be approved. New accounts with no/minimal Bidding History will not be Approved. If you are banned on our own system, you will not be approved.

COMMISSION Buyers Premium of 20% plus vat (24% inclusive) is payable on the hammer
price of every lot. Please note there is an additional premium of 4.95% (5.94% inclusive) when bidding via the saleroom.com 

PAYMENT Payment is welcome by cash, debit and credit card in person. (there is a 3.5% surcharge on
invoices for credit cards for payments made outside the EU). Payment by cheque is not accepted. Payment for any amount by overseas buyers and new customers and for any buyer with amounts exceeding £500 must be made by BACS. PAYMENT and CLEARING is due by 5pm on the MONDAY FOLLOWING THE AUCTION, unless by prior arrangement. We reserve the right to charge an additional storage and handling fee for uncleared lots.

POSTAGE: For a further charge, we are happy to pack and post single items that will fit within a 30cmx30cmx20cm box and weigh no more than 2kg and we will send by Royal Mail special delivery. We will not pack collections of fragile items or pictures/paintings.
