An attractive and quite rare double bay oak chest of drawers by Robson & Sons. Constructed from thick cuts of solid oak boasting a well figured wild grain. A heavy and sturdy piece raised on hidden castors for ease of movement. The chamfered edged top above one long and four short drawers mounted with good handles, dovetailed jointing, solid clean oak lined interiors flanked by planked sides and raised on carved bracket feet. England, circa 1890 Height: 77.2 cm Width: 148.7 cm Depth: 73.6 cm
