Edwardian carved oak glazed secretaire bookcase. Constructed from thick cuts of solid oak boasting a well figured grain. The glazed doors enclosed adjustable shelving. The lower section with chamfered edges and fitted escritoire drawer converting to the writing desk enclosed birdseye maple lined interior, gilt tooled leather writing suface, cubby holes and miniature drawers. The carved paneled doors below enclosed shelving, raised on a plinth base. The piece dismantles to two sections for ease of movement.
