Payment Terms
Payment must be made within 5 working days of the auction's conclusion. We accept payment by bank transfer, debit/credit card, etc. Please ensure full payment is received before arranging collection or delivery of any lots.

All items may be collected from our retail premises in Leeds at the following address:

Collection is available by appointment only during our standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). Please contact us in advance to arrange a suitable time. Also, advise on packaging instructions.
Courier & Third-Party Collection
You are welcome to arrange your own courier or collection service. If doing so, please ensure that full payment has been made and that your chosen courier is aware of any packing requirements. We will not release items to third parties without prior written authorisation from the purchaser. Please be aware that many couriers won’t carry antiques guns, always check before getting a quote.

For antiques valued over £2500 (for delivery within the UK) we recommend the following courier. This company is registered to carry firearms and is able to carry antique guns.

In-House Shipping
We offer in-house shipping for many items. Postage costs will vary depending on size, weight, value and destination.
Books and Accessories: Standard UK Mainland shipping starts from £10.00 per parcel.
Antique Guns and Bladed Items: UK Mainland shipping starts from £25.00
per parcel (includes up to £100 insurance).
Antique guns must be insured, insurance prices are:
Insurance up to £500 charged at £4.80
Insurance up to £1000 charged at £9.60
Insurance up to £1500 charged at £14.40
Insurance up to £2000 charged at £19.20
Insurance up to £2500 charged at £24.00
Overseas Deliveries
For overseas customers, we work with two international couriers who can handle export paperwork. Buyers are responsible for complying with all relevant import regulations, and any duties, taxes, or customs charges incurred. Costs dependent on destination, weight, dimensions and value. We are more than happy to offer quotes.
Storage charges may apply for items not collected or shipped within 21 days of the auction end date.

Terms & Conditions of Bidding
1. Registration
All prospective bidders must register before placing bids. By registering and
bidding in the sale, bidders agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. Buyer’s Premium
A buyer’s premium of 17.83% (plus VAT where applicable) will be added to the
hammer price of each lot. Additional platform surcharges may apply for online
bidding via The Saleroom or other bidding platforms.
3. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full within 5 working days of the auction’s conclusion.
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, debit/credit card, cash (up to
legal limits). Items will not be released until payment has been received and
cleared in full.
4. Collection & Shipping
See delivery tab for full details of shipping and collections. Storage charges may
apply for items not collected or shipped within 21 days of the auction end date.
5. Condition of Lots
All lots are sold as seen and as described to the best of our knowledge. We do
not offer warranties or guarantees. Buyers are encouraged to satisfy themselves
as to the condition, age, and authenticity of items prior to bidding. Condition
reports are available on request but are provided as a guide only.
6. Description & Cataloguing
While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of descriptions, all statements
in the catalogue or elsewhere are the opinion of the auctioneer or seller and are
not to be taken as definitive or legally binding.
7. Title & Risk
Title to the lot passes to the buyer upon full payment. Risk passes at the point of
collection or dispatch. We are not liable for damage or loss once the item has
left our possession.
8. Non-Payment or Non-Collection
If payment is not received within the stated period, or goods are not collected
or arranged for shipping within 21 working days, we reserve the right to charge
storage fees and/or re-offer the item in a future sale, with the buyer remaining
liable for any shortfall.
9. Firearms & Restricted Items
Where applicable, all firearms, antique weapons, or other regulated items will
be sold in accordance with current UK legislation. Proof of eligibility (e.g. valid
licence or exemption) will be required before collection or shipping.
10. General
We reserve the right to withdraw lots, refuse bids, or cancel sales at our
discretion. Bidding increments are determined by the auctioneer or platform
and are final.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
