Bon état général

Bonne tension et planéité de la toile
La toile d'origine est rentoilée. Toutefois, cette intervention ne semble pas liée à un dommage majeur car aucune déchirure n'a pu être détectée
Bonne adhésion du rentoilage

Présence d'un réseau de craquelures d'âge sur l'ensemble moyennement marqué indiquant notamment l'emplacement de l'ancien châssis
Très bonne adhésion de la couche picturale
Présence de plusieurs retouches mineures:
- bordure gauche
-angle supérieur gauche
-centre bordure supérieure
-quelques points de retouches éparses

Ces retouches sont visibles à l'oeil nu car elles se sont oxydées et donc décolorées. Elle sont largement débordantes par rapport au réel dommage de l'oeuvre et représentent moins de 2% de la surface totale du tableau

Présence de petites lacunes inférieures à 1 mm sur une zone d'environ 3x3 cm dans l'arbre derrière la femme au panier (voir photo)
La couche de vernis a été nettoyées ce qui a occasionné une légère usure de la couche picturale

Ce vernis ancien reste toutefois visible sous forme de petites taches brunâtres présente dans les anfractuosités de la couche picturale
Présence d'une couche de vernis de restauration homogène satinée et transparente

The original canvas has been relined. However, this intervention does not appear to be related to any major damage, as no tear could be detected
Good adhesion of the lining

Presence of an age-related craquelure network across the surface, moderately pronounced, notably indicating the location of the former stretcher
Very good adhesion of the paint layer
Presence of several minor retouchings:

• left edge
• upper left corner
• center of the upper edge
• a few scattered retouched spots

These retouchings are visible to the naked eye, as they have oxidized and become discolored. They extend significantly beyond the actual damage and account for less than 2% of the total surface of the painting

Presence of small losses under 1 mm within an area of approximately 3 x 3 cm in the tree behind the woman with the basket (see photo)
The varnish layer was cleaned, which caused slight wear to the paint layer

The old varnish remains visible in the form of small brownish spots located in the recesses of the pictorial surface
Presence of a homogeneous, satin-finish, transparent restoration varnish layer

Provenance
