The Natural History of British Shells, including figures and descriptions of all the species hitherto discovered in Great Britain, systematically arranged in the Linnean manner, with scientific and general observations on each, 4 volumes of 5 (no vol IV), London: printed for the author and F and C Rivington, 1799-1803, volume I with 2 titles dated 1799 & 1804, 160 hand-coloured engraved plates, occasional light toning and spotting, bookplates, contemporary tree calf gilt, some joints cracking, spines and edges a little rubbed
