  • A later 18th century Dutch triple case pocket watch
  • Case: Inner gold. Hallmarks for London 1772. 'HB' sponsor's mark. Secondary cast repoussé style case. Outer Shagreen case. Width: 53.4mm
  • Movement: Signed. Key wound, full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock and square baluster pillars. Numbered 13xx
  • Dial: White Dutch-style arcaded enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers
  • Total weight: 110.7g


  • Movement is not currently functioning. The fusee chain has broken
  • Dial appears to be in a generally fair condition with some wear around the edge and some dirt and detritus. There appears to be a lttle crack in a semi-circle between 7-10 minute mark on the the dial
  • Hands appear to be in a generally fair condition for age
  • Inner case has scratches, marks and dents. Pendant tube rotates freely. Middle case has scratches, wear and rubbing to the repoussé decoration and button. There are a few signs of what might possibly be previous repair near the button. Outer Shagreen case has signs of wear commensurate with age and use, with the odd little hole and a split to the top side. Hinges appear intact*
  • The watch glass has some scratches and marks
  • This lot does not come with box or a copy of the original manufacturer warranty
