CIRENCESTER, Gloucestershire
A 1930s Cotswold School oak corner cupboard, the caddy top over an arched panel door with octagonal knob handle in the manner of Fred Gardiner enclosing three shaped shelves with chamfered undersides over a bracket foot open recess, 74 cm wide x 49.5 cm deep x 169.5 cm high

CONDITION REPORTS
Whilst the piece is in over all sound condition, there are certainly signs of wear and tear conducive with age and use. Some shrinkage at the joints through which light can be seen, particularly between the cornice and the frieze. There is a split along the grain above the domed door and a split in the wood to the left hand side to the lower end of the dome. The door catch does not quite actually close but may do with some adjustment. The shelves all have cup marks to the top and are all chamfered to the underside. There is some slight discolouration to the left hand side where you can see it is darker to the extremity than it is to the area closer to the centre section, similar to the right hand side. There are some light surface scratching which may come out with polishing. See images for further details.
