Born in Rongpur Bangladesh she studied at MS University Vadodara India where she later became a faculty member. Dhumal’s art focused on the strength and complexity of women often exploring themes of power and resilience through her "Devi" series. Drawing inspiration from both mythology and contemporary life her work conveyed the enduring nature of women’s roles in society. Her use of color and form was deliberate blending aesthetics with meaning.
