JOHN FAULKNER RHA (1835 - 1894)
John Faulkner was a distinguished Irish landscape painter and watercolourist, and a founding member of the Water Colour Society of Ireland. A regular exhibitor at the Royal Hibernian Academy from 1852, Faulkner is celebrated for his finely observed rural and coastal landscapes, often suffused with gentle light and subtle detail.
