MILDRED ANNE BUTLER RWS (1858 - 1941)
Mildred Anne Butler R.W.S. was a renowned Irish painter associated with the Newlyn School and known for her masterful watercolours of landscapes, gardens, and animals. Elected to the Royal Watercolour Society in 1893, she was one of the few Irish women artists of her time to achieve significant recognition. Her sensitive, light-filled works are held in many major collections, including the National Gallery of Ireland
