(1875 - 1951) Wycliffe Egginton was a prominent British landscape watercolourist and member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours. He was known for his refined technique and poetic treatment of the British countryside, particularly moorland, lake, and coastal scenes. He served as principal of the Newton Abbot College of Art and exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy and the Royal Institute.
